The artists explore and examine local life through the vestiges of old travel routes and pathways in the Dalongtong area. In doing so, they gradually reveal the deep and intricate web of connectivity that held together this community from ancient times. Then they went on to use the collected data to put a new network in place for today’s citizens and visitors, marked by art installations, informative plaques and posters, or lights set up in prominent spots. In this way, the artists contributed to rejuvenating the community’s appearance, and helped to redefine its identity.
