In this artwork, an optical illusion by means of inverse perspective, in combination with one of artist Hung Tung-Lu's favored media, lenticular panels, reflests the unlimited potential and promise of the new generation. The MRT is a primal driving force for the city. When a train enters and departs a station, it acts as a symbol of the connection and continuity between the new era and the old. Just as baseball, the national pastime, conveys the history and emotions of the people, we look forward to continued advancement toward new prospects in a new age.
