The pandemic has constrained our lives in so many ways. A sphere of virtual breathing energy rises in the center of the plaza, gathering visitors’ collective longing to “breathe freely.” This artwork documents the most severe pandemic of the century. The energy sphere turns into different shapes when touched by visitors. The shifting shapes symbolize that the pandemic does not care about race and knows no boundaries. And they allude to the many changes that the pandemic has produced. Humanity must unite to meet this challenge, and greet a new dawn. Together, Let’s BREATHE FREELY
