This work explores the question, “What is happiness?” Fifty teachers and junior high school students accepted one-on-one interviews, discussing what they thought happiness was, the state of happiness, its motivating factors, and how to obtain happiness that lasts forever. Some of the interviewees’ video recordings were spliced together with a computer and turned into six works, placed on the school’s first, second and third floors. The interviewees now serve as “happiness spokepersons,” reflecting a cross-section of the spirit of the times, and also reminding teachers and students to contemplate their own body, mind, and spiritual state. The people pictured in the works are Hung Yu-hsiu, Shih Tung-yue, Wei Bai-lan, Liu Yan-ru, Yu Ming-chin, Liu Chang-lin, Chu Szu-chie, Chen Yu-jie, Lu Wei-ting, Chen Yu-chao, Yang Ya-hui, Kao Yu-yu, Ma You-chun, Chang Wei-lun, Wu Li-hsuan.
