"We slept in the boat, the night being brilliantly fine, a strong dew falling towards sunrise, and the stillness being broken by the croaking of frogs, the chirping of cicadas, the occasional leaping of a large fish in the stream, the passage of boats up the river.....the water appeared perfectly fresh to the taste." The west side of Meilun Park used to be where Keelung River ran before its channelization. Captivated by this passage by Cuthbert Collingwood, an English naturalist who traveled the Keelung River in the 19th century, No2Good, as an artist who grew up in the neighborhood, was inspired to create the unique art installation "A Super Mousy Project" for the park. Mousy seems to time-travel with his river animal friends through the abandoned underground river channel to the modern world, and is surprised by the enormous change of the landscape over time. The artwork tells of the bygone stories with an intriguing twist, inviting the viewers to reflect on the past and imagine a new future for the city we live in.
