The artist has created a golden tree representing the “money tree” much beloved by the people of Taipei. His trademark artistic vocabulary of trees captures the traces of passing time, while giving this small plaza a poetic air, as the golden tree mingles with seven real trees. It is no longer growing, and this reflects the helplessness of the natural environment in the city! Bronze leaves embedded in the sidewalk are scattered among real fallen leaves, and along their path of movement, a journey through time unfolds. Granite stones of different shapes and colors under the tree serve as seats where people can meet or have a rest.
