This calligraphic artwork features the “wild cursive” style of the thematic works of Tang period Buddhist monk and calligrapher Huai Su (725？–785？), whose work transcribed here depicts the seasonal flow of nature and the vastness of the Universe while contrasting between summer and winter and between Heaven and Earth, as to illustrate the operative functions behind the mysterious cyclic dance of space-time in the Cosmos.
