The image of "infinity" implied by the Astronomy-Mathematics Building serves as the inspiration for this artwork. Mathematical symbols have been transformed through the language of art into a single fluid ring. Unlimited imagination arising from the vast universe manifests infnite form of special beauty, from which wells up an endless, inehaustible energy. Also, due to the simplicity and affinity of its mode of aesthetic expression, the artwork embodies the eternity contained within the relationship between the viewer and the study of astronomy and mathematics. It also becomes a concretely imaginable, comprehensible bridge to the viewer's daily life experience. Whether from afar or up close, the act of viewing generates ripples extending outward into the distance.
