At the Edge of Perception A Microscopic World (Flora Anima)

This work explores the forms of flora that science observes. Academia has traditionally viewed scientific research and examination (represented by the microscope) and the realm of art and aesthetic mental development as completely unrelated disciplines. In fact, they both propose new ways to perceive ourselves, our world, or even a single tree leaf. The ability to perceive and observe lifeforms, as a result, is a hybrid process involving reason, sensorium, craft, and imagination.
