The distinctive "exploding-bomb" formation in which Taiwan's Thunder Tigers fly is employed to highlight the special nature of the Air Force Command Headquarters and the heroic image of the air force. The simple flowing lines of this work express the extraordinary skills of air force pilots in controling the AT-3 advanced training planes. On the work's base are recorded the many exploits of the Thunder Tigers. Located in an area where the business of the mltary and the coming and going of daily civilian life intersect, the work utilizes a symbolic vocabulary to convey the true nature of the Thunder Tigers and the air force.
