aul Chiang is one of the most well-known abstract artists in Taiwan. His works utilize the abstract vocabulary of line and color to create mysterious, kaleidoscopic images that describe the interaction between the depth of the abstract world and the artist’s own soul. In the pieces displayed here, the artist adopts glass as his medium, blowing, kneading, forming and coloring them into a wide variety of shapes and textures, finally creating works using pieces of different shapes, size and thickness. The light source behind the glass displays the power of light and fire, taking viewers for a ride on time and shadow as they explore the glory of life created by color, rhythm and light.
