Inspired by the ancient philosopher Xunzi's treatise "An Exhortation to Learning", the work "Learning Never Ends" stands at the entrance to the Judges Academy, expressing the inherent law of learning as the accumulation of knowledge, and manifesting the unceasing quest for erudition of Judicial officials. This work features the elegant calligraphy of Lin Chang-Hu, interpreted with pins on canvas by the contemporary artist Chen Chun-Hao. The texture of the pins affords different perceptions of the work depending on the position of the viewer. Each pin is drilled by the artist's own hand, just as knowledge is discerned and honed through intensive study, allowing both theory and practice to take shape, step by step, to the consistent realm
