This work is meant to convey the richness of culture, and the unique diversity of species living on the land of Taiwan, Interweaving geometric and natural organic shapes into a profusion of vitality. Blue shapes represent water resources. Green is the imagery of forest preservation. Purple and other colors represent rich ecosystems with protected species, such as Swinhoe's pheasant, the broad-tailed swallowtail butterfly, or the Formosan landlocked salmon. In the work these beautiful species blend abstractly with natural vivacity, like birds on the wing or butterflies aflutter.
