Spring is the season of germination and growth; the vitality of summer does not cease to grow and flourish; the dryness and brittleness of autumn symbolizes the changing of the seasons; aside from symbolizing purification and tranquility, the frigidness of winter also conceals the fact the humanity outht to bear in mind global warming. Protecting the environment and our resources must start from within us. In the ribbon-like space of the path's landscape, both sides of the already existing flagstone path again present the imagery of the changing of the four seasons using different types of stone. This work of art presents the beauty of art and landscape and symbolizes the different stages of growth and vigor for the teachers and students of the campus. A traditional suikinkutsu was installed for both spring and summer. By presenting a simple structure, the artist tums it into modern landscape art. In the concealed environment rich with the modern ambiance of Eastern Zen, we can carefully listen to the crisp sounds of tranquility. This work of art features the four seasons. Constructed between the dormitory and courtyard and full of culture, it expresses the infinite nature of the universe, the ceaseless cycle of the natural world, its expansion, and divergence.
