This is a work collectively created by women from various tribal units—Xiang Bi, Da An, Shi Lin and Tia Gou—in Atayal Tribe and Tai An Township in Miaoli County. In Atayal language, “tminum＂means weaving. Mixing its basic component, ramie, traditional natural fabric, with unvarnished materials such as jute and sisal, and colorful woolly threads, this work expresses magnificence shaped by simplicity and plumpness born in curvature. Hope to be winged so as to hover in the sky and make dreams come true.
